We used West Construction Services on our old house that is on the U.S. National Historic Register. It was very important for us to find a contractor who could entirely replace a damaged large 2 story back covered porch keeping the historic look and character. City codes required it to be rebuilt to current codes. West Construction worked with us to meet the codes and keep the looks consistent with how it looked before and period correct. We could not be happier (this was 2 years ago and I am still so happy with it, I am writing this today as good quality is hard to find). I highly recommend this company due to their high quality work and the high quality employees they have and their ability to work through options to meet code and be aesthetically pleasing. We are very happy with all the little details they did on our project. This should be your first choice in a contractor if quality is important to you. You may contact us with questions.

West did a fairly comprehensive interior makeover of our home. While the footprint did not change, there were significant updates inside. Our kitchen was moved, load bearing walls were removed to create an open floor plan, and a bathroom was added. The members of the crew from West were courteous, prompt, and above all, extremely conscientious. They obviously take much pride in their work and ensuring their clients are happy. The job was completed in the estimated timeframe. We are thrilled with the result, and would recommend West to anyone for jobs small and large.

As we contemplated the undertaking of building a custom home, we did our research and West Construction was frequently mentioned as a quality builder by those in the industry. We then arranged to meet with Lou Buigas, and quickly realized she understood what our vision was, and she was attentive to all requests.
Lou’s extensive experience in residential construction was evident. The respect, honesty, and a realist approach if something we value. In working with Lou and her team, especially Mark Fuller, we had a great experience seeing our new home become a reality. Lou’s attention to detail and close supervision of the project, as well as guiding subcontractors, was clearly on display from day one and throughout the entire process. Lou’s insight and recommendations throughout the construction process created a home for us beyond our expectations.
